name out there. Creating a website is perfect for allowing people to shop around for
your services, learn more about you, and provide information to your clients. I have
been designing websites for about 2 years. I design websites using Macromedia
Dreamweaver and HTML. You may also pick a template or ask me to start from
scratch.
I entered this journey when I needed a website for my own doula business. I couldn't
afford to spend over $300 for someone else to design my site and I certainly didn't
have the money for an expensive program. I bought some books on websites and
just dived right in! After designing a few websites, I realized I needed a better
program, so I used the money from designing those sites and purchased
Dreamweaver. There are many businesses out there that will design a site for you.
Many put a cap on the amount of content or pages you can have. I don’t. You can have
as many pages and content as you like. You are in charge of the design for your site
from the colors, to the font, to the pictures and content. It is your site.

Once you hire me for your web design, I will order your domain name. It takes about 2
days for your domain name to be ready for uploading. During those 2 days, we work
on the design of your site. Everything is under your control from the colors, to the
pictures, to all the words and links. I am just the person that does all the input; you tell
me what you are looking for. I offer advice on the design, but ultimately, it is your site.
I maintain your site as the administrator, but you are the owner of the website. Should
you wish to terminate services, you may forward the website to another administrator,
or yourself and I will send all the information to get that started. It's very simple.
I will update your pages as needed. There is no limit on the amount of pages you can
have. Updates usually take place once a month, but I will make a change should it be
detrimental to your business.
Web design is a low $225 (does not include hosting and maintenance) for the first
